At The Ridge we are really keen to promote Reading for Pleasure as we believe it is important that every child finds books that they love to read. We have put together links on the right to recommended booklists if you are stuck on what to read next.

We are really pleased that we have been able to fully reopen our library now so that all pupils are able to visit the library and borrow 2 books at a time. We have a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books to choose from and are continuously adding new titles.

All children are taught how to use our library scanning system so that they can borrow, renew and return books themselves. Our online system also allows them to write reviews of any books we have in our catalogue so they can recommend them to others.

Children can request certain books, authors or topics they wish to see in the library and we regularly update books to ensure new titles are added.
